ومن المقرر أن تصدر محكمة العدل الدولية حكمها يوم الجمعة في طلب جنوب أفريقيا إصدار أمر بوقف الهجوم الإسرائيلي على رفح في غزة. وفي الأسبوع الماضي، طلبت جنوب أفريقيا من محكمة العدل الدولية، المعروفة أيضاً بالمحكمة العالمية، أن تأمر بوقف الهجوم الإسرائيلي على غزة، وفي رفح على وجه الخصوص، لضمان بقاء الشعب الفلسطيني. والمطالبة بمثل هذا الإجراء الطارئ هو جزء من قضية أكبر رفعتها جنوب أفريقيا أمام المحكمة ومقرها لاهاي وتتهم إسرائيل بارتكاب جرائم إبادة جماعية.
