Egypt got the second tranche of funds from the Ras El Hekma agreement: The Abu Dhabi wealth fund ADQ has delivered the second tranche of the USD 35 bn Ras El Hekma agreement, a senior government source confirmed. The tranche consists of USD 14 bn in fresh inflows and USD 6 billion in the form of a previous UAE deposit at the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE). It is expected that the funds will land in the state’s coffers between late April and early May. We received the first USD 15 bn tranche of the payment late in February, split between USD 10 bn in fresh inflows and USD 5 bn in the form of a previous UAE deposit at the CBE. (Enterprise)

The International Monetary Fund said in a statement on Monday that Oman's near- to medium-term outlook is favorable with downside risks stemming from tensions in the region and abrupt global slowdown. The IMF added that Oman's fiscal and external balances are set to remain in comfortable positions over the medium term supported by favorable oil prices and ongoing fiscal and structural reforms. “Oman’s economic growth is expected to remain moderate at 0.9 percent in 2024, on the back of extended oil production cuts to first half of this year before accelerating to 4.1 percent in 2025," IMF announced. The goal is to ensure water security in Muscat and the surrounding provinces. أبلغ وزير الخارجية المصري وزير الخارجية الأمريكي أنتوني بلينكن أن استمرار العمليات العسكرية الإسرائيلية في غزة، وخاصة في رفح، المدينة الحدودية بين مصر والقطاع، ينطوي على "مخاطر أمنية جسيمة". وشدد سامح شكري أيضًا في الاتصال على ضرورة استئناف العمل. تسليم المساعدات إلى غزة بعد أن ناقشا استيلاء إسرائيل على الجانب الفلسطيني من معبر رفح الحدودي (زاوية).

دخلت القوات الإسرائيلية عمقًا في أنقاض الحافة الشمالية لغزة لاستعادة منطقة ادعت فيها أنها هزمت حماس قبل أشهر، في حين انتقلت الدبابات والقوات البرية عبر طريق سريع إلى رفح في الطرف المعاكس من القطاع مع تصاعد المعارك العنيفة على حواف غزة الشمالية والجنوبية، فقد أخذ مئات الآلاف من الفلسطينيين يهربون مرة أخرى، وحذرت جماعات المساعدة من أن أزمة إنسانية قد تتفاقم بشكل حاد وصفت إسرائيل عودتها الأخيرة إلى الشمال، حيث انسحبت معظم قواتها قبل خمسة أشهر، بأنها جزء من مرحلة التنظيف في الحرب لمنع القتاليين من العودة، وقالت إن مثل هذه العمليات كانت دائمًا جزءًا من خطتها (زاوية)
